"I was the first from Mississippi to play for the U.S. Men's National Team, and now I want to  pave the way for more in the future."

I was born and raised in central Mississippi, and played my youth soccer at the Reservoir as well as in Jackson.

I attended Northwest Rankin and went on to be drafted 4th in the Major League Soccer Superdraft in 2002 at the age of 17 by D.C. United, right out of high school.

I played for 15 years in MLS for five different teams including the Chicago Fire, Montreal Impact, Philadelphia Union, and Sporting KC.

I've had a few honors along the way. In 2006 I was selected as Best 11 in MLS, and received an All-Star nods in 2005 and 2013.

I also won two coveted US Open Cup Trophies with the Fire in 2006.

Some other achievements include becoming the youngest goal scorer in Chicago Fire history and the youngest player in league history to play 300 regular season matches.

I rank top five in assists in both Chicago Fire and Montreal Impact history, and top-20 all time in for assists in MLS history.

On top of a long and successful career in MLS, I also had the distinct privilege of playing for the USA at all levels including playing in two youth World Cups at the U-17 and U-20 age groups.

I collected 8 Caps (appearances) with the US Mens National team; featuring in games in World Cup Qualifying, as well as, the Copa America in Venezuela in 2007 starting off against Leo Messi and star studded Argentina. He would also win Gold at the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup topping Mexico in the finals.

NOW I'M BACK.

After a long and illustrious career, I returned to central MS where I grew up.

My vision is to teach and share my knowledge with the youth of MS to help achieve their potential.

I was in a similar position once, and I know what it takes to reach the next level. whatever level that may be.

Through "Justin Mapp Soccer" I hope to share my many experiences and knowledge gained, including from the highest level there is in the USA.

I'm offering unique and intimate lessons, 1-on-1 or in small groups. I believe these small, technical, attention to detail lessons can offer something hard to come by in Central MS.

I want to answer the question, "Is the Next MLS Star in Mississippi?"
